The curse ranges from weak to strong to strongest, and each cycle brings a ton of treasure to hunt for—if you’re brave enough to dive into the Ascendant Plane in search of riches. Destiny 2 has six Ascendant Challenges that rotate every week. They’re a surefire source of Dreaming City gear, including reissued versions of Waking Vigil, Tigerspite, and Twilight Oath.

Luckily for gamers, they come with rewards to match. Each week, at least one Nightfall weapon is in rotation and can drop from Nightfall completions.
Higher difficulties have better odds, and Destiny 2 guardians brave enough to face Grandmasters will get an Adept version of whatever weapon is on tap that week. Revenant is bringing a few Grandmasters on the challenging or annoying side, including Liminality, the Corrupted, Proving Grounds, and the Lightblade—which are (or were) among the trickiest at the time of their release.

Stay Frosty is a Stasis Lightweight Frame pulse rifle, and it can be hard for such an archetype to stand out among plenty of other pulse rifles in Destiny 2. However, the 2024 version received new perks, like Rimestealer and Lone Wolf, that can make it more competitive in both PvE and PvP.

Up close and personal.]]>Destiny 2’s holiday event is upon the Last City. As part of the Dawning event, guardians have to take down countless enemies and gain ingredients to bake cookies for their favorite NPCs, with the possibility of earning seasonal loot on the way.
What determines the ingredients you might receive in the Dawning is the enemy type you’ve defeated and how you defeated it. Taken enemies have a chance of dropping Taken Butter, for instance, but killing a Taken enemy with a sword might actually give you Sharp Flavor instead.

Dawning ingredients drop based on two criteria: which enemy faction you’re killing and how. Taking down Vex grants you Vex Milk, but defeating them with Void damage from weapons or abilities may drop Null Taste.
