You could not be more wrong if you think Diablo 4 is over when you get to World Tier Four or even reach level 100. While defeating the Torment Capstone Dungeon and reaching level 100 are huge accomplishments, the Echo of Hatred dungeon is the final leap you must take to complete the game.
The Echo of Hatred dungeon is where the Echo of Lilith lies in wait. After you defeated the main story campaign, text boxes appeared on your screen that explained how Capstone Dungeons, Helltide events, and other endgame loops worked. There was also a box explaining that a harder version of Lilith was available once you reached a certain level. This version of Lilith is inside the Echo of Hatred dungeon, and if you’ve been looking for it, you can read my guide below to figure out exactly what it entails.
]]>Diablo 4 is a game with a lot of stats. In fact, I’d even go so far as to say that this game is all about stats beneath all the swords, sorcery, blood, guts, and petals. So it’s useful, but also difficult, to understand what they all mean.
The stats tab on your character screen divides stats into six categories: Currency, Core Stats, Offensive, Defensive, Utility, and PvP. But there are also item stats to be considered. There are in-game explanations for every individual stat, but for the purposes of this guide, I’m going to focus on the core stats, character stats, and item stats because those are the ones that apply to every character in every situation.
]]>There’s an awful lot of terminology in Diablo 4, and the game doesn’t really take much time to talk you through it. One term that comes up a lot but isn’t really explained—at least not in a front-and-center way—is Crowd Control.
Crowd Control refers to a range of status effects that, in some way, impair the movement and actions of enemies. That’s a broad definition, and it can be difficult to know which effects count as Crowd Control and which don’t. Here’s a full breakdown of everything you need to know about Crowd Control in Diablo 4, including how you can do it, what it does, and how to counter it when you get hot by a Crowd Control ability.
]]>Diablo 4’s new DLC is now available, and there’s plenty to do in the Vessel of Hatred, including several side quests. If you’ve picked up The Keening Spirit side quest and don’t know where to find the distressed spirit Bashe, we’ve got you covered.
Once you have completed the early stages of the Vessel of Hatred story, the DLC opens up with various side quests to complete for extra rewards, and The Keening Spirit is one of the earliest you’re likely to encounter.
]]>Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred DLC is now live, but players have been experiencing issues accessing the new quests tied to the DLC. If you’re encountering the “Blocked quests are unavailable in your current state” error, we’ve got some fixes.
The “blocked quests are unavailable in your current state error” can occur at any time during Diablo 4’s DLC, though it’s commonly appears when first launching into Vessel of Hatred. However, progress past the start isn’t enough to prevent the error from occurring again.
]]>Traveling in Diablo 4 can take a long time. Luckily, a mount option in the game allows you to ride horses and travel faster across regions. The ability to get a horse is tied to a mission named Mount: Donan’s Favor, and this Priority Quest will become available after you start Act Four.
If you find yourself covering long distances on foot and passing dangerous creatures dwelling in the shadows of Sanctuary, completing this quest as soon as possible can be a real lifesaver.
]]>Diablo 4 comes with a series of emotes you can use to have some fun while playing, especially with friends or in PvP. You can taunt an enemy you just defeated, say “hello” to random players, or even just say goodbye to an NPC after finishing their quest for the sake of roleplaying.
Emotes are optional, but they are fun, and you can use them to express yourself to other players in the world. For people playing Diablo 4 mostly solo, like me, it’s a feature that’s easy to miss, and I only found it when I accidentally pressed the wrong key during a fight.
]]>Diablo 4 players are in grind mode, completing as many quests as they can to level up and progress. But while most quests are relatively straightforward, some are more difficult. The Secret of the Spring quest is a tricky one, and that’s because it asks players to solve a riddle.
This quest starts when players find a discarded note that is located near a cabin northeast of Kyovashad, and while some have said the note is class-specific, it reads otherwise. Here’s all the information you need to know about how to solve The Secret of the Spring riddle in Diablo 4.
]]>Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion brings new story missions, quests, and a playable area, but the biggest and most fun addition to the game is the Spiritborn class.
Spiritborn is a versatile class in Diablo 4, with several different viable builds thanks to the class’s mastery of Spirit Guardians. Each Spirit Guardian offers fun ways to play, but our leveling build is perfect for grinding to level 60 and letting the fun truly begin.
]]>Skill slots (or Ability slots, as the game calls them) are really important in Diablo 4. There are a lot of skills and abilities in Diablo 4, and it can sometimes feel like you don’t have enough skill slots, especially early in the game.
Thankfully, there are ways to unlock more, but only in the early stages of the leveling experience. If you’re expecting to have a wide-ranging hotbar with countless ability slots, you’re likely going to be out of luck.
