You might, however, need to head off in multiple directions with your friends, especially if you aren't close to the sandy hills of the desert. Rough Amber location in LEGO Fortnite Rough Amber can be found in the Desert biome in a Dry Valley, identified by its bright yellow exterior and jagged design. It's found mostly on the sides or at the top of these large outcrops of rock and might be hard to access due to the elevation. To reach some of these spots, you can either use nearby geysers to boost yourself up or build a set of stairs to climb. You will only get two pieces of Rough Amber from each deposit, which means you'll need to scavenge around for plenty if you're building a specific tool for your use. Afterward, you can take these Rough Amber pieces to your base to refine them with a Gemcutter, which is the only way to acquire the rare Cut Amber resource. Keep in mind that the Dry Valley is very hot and if you don't have the Cool-Headed Charm (which can be crafted at Craft Bench level two) or Snowberries to prevent heat damage, then your character will start losing health. It's be best to carry these items to safe and spend as much time you need to farm the Amber in the desert. How to mine Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite To mine Rough Amber, players must first upgrade their Pickaxe to the uncommon level so it can break the Rough Amber deposits. If your tool isn't at the right level, you will immediately know since it will do 0 damage and bounce off the rock. After you've acquired an Uncommon Pickaxe, you can head out into the great unknown in search of this important piece of stone. You might, however, need to head off in multiple directions with your friends, especially if you aren't close to the sandy hills of the desert. The map could come in handy if you are lost and the change in terrain color from green to yellow should help you pick a direction. What is Rough Amber used for in LEGO Fortnite? Rough Amber is used in the Essence Table to add essences to your existing weapons or tools to make them more durable and increase their health. Apart from that, you'd want to put them through the Gemcutter and obtain Cut Amber, which can be used for multiple purposes like constructing a Essence Table, building the Totem of the Immortal, and the Health Charm.
