You don't need to unlock it, as the mirror is already available. Press B on the keyboard to open the build menu, go to the Furniture tab, Furnishing Items, and select the Floor Mirror. You need 20 logs and 10 Glass to make it. So long as you have your token in your inventory, you can re-access the character creator and change your character's appearance with the mirror.
