Though his damage range isn\u2019t as impressive, Bebop offers arguably the most iconic ability in any game\u2014the Hook.\u00a0 You can use the Hook to save your teammates and close the distance between you and your opponent for a quick combo, dishing a burst of damage at close range. To dominate your matches, you\u2019ll also need to get the correct early, mid, and late-game upgrades from the shop. Here\u2019s the best build for Bebop in Deadlock, including his abilities, card selection, and a few gameplay tips. Bebop\u2019s abilities in Deadlock Like all the heroes in Deadlock, Bebop offers three main abilities and an ultimate: Exploding Uppercut: Bashes the enemy units in melee range, pushing them back and causing area damage where they land.\u00a0 Sticky Bomb: Attaches a Sticky Bomb to a nearby target (ally or enemy unit, including heroes) that deals explosive damage after a short period. You can also attach a Sticky Bomb to yourself. Hook: Throws a hook that lets you grab a teammate or enemy hero. If the target hooked is an enemy, it deals a small amount of damage. The hooked targets reel in front of you, and you can quickly turn after launching the hook to change their position slightly. Hyper Beam: As the name suggests, it charges up (channeled ability) a powerful laser that deals damage and slows enemies\u2019 movement. Compared to the regular attack, the Hyper Beam has a significantly longer range, and if you activate it while in the air, you\u2019ll hover until it runs out.\u00a0 Bebop uses a heavier, slower-firing laser gun as his primary weapon, with a slow reload time in the early game. The gun has limited range; however, aiming is quite easy as the bullets are hitscan. You can make up for Bebop\u2019s limited range using his Hook to reel in an opposing hero. Additionally, if you stick a bomb and use your uppercut on the hooked target, it drops the enemy\u2019s health to almost half, making it easier for you to finish them with your left click. The best build for Bebop in Deadlock Early game For abilities, open with Hook. Unlock each ability as you level up, but pump your early skill points on the Hook and then Uppercut. I found it more comfortable to finish off enemy heroes in the early and mid-game using the combos.\u00a0 You can run different builds depending on the hero you\u2019re up against in your lane, but for the early game, you need to boost your weapon\u2019s rate of fire, increase your movement speed, and get a few upgrades to sustain the lanes. Get Rapid Rounds to buff your fire rate and Sprint Boots to improve your health regeneration and movement speed. Additionally, Spirit Strike, like the first two upgrades, is also available for 500 Souls, and it\u2019s a powerful early-game upgrade for Bebop, considering it gives a nice buff to melee damage (including Uppercut). Then, as you collect more Souls and make quick trips to The Curiosity Shops, get the following cards: Swift Striker, Mystic Burst, Bullet Lifesteal, and Bullet Resist Shredder.\u00a0 Mid game I aim to quickly grab the Enchanter\u2019s Barrier to increase my survivability, with Burst Fire and Tesla Bullets being the next upgrades that significantly buff rate of fire. Tesla Bullets also give a 25 percent chance to shock your target, and though the shock damage seems small, it adds up really well when you\u2019re constantly firing. Then, I like to pick up Silence Glyph to silence enemy heroes, Pristine Emblem for the increased weapon damage, and Enduring Speed for better move speed. Ability-wise, I stick to leveling up the Uppercut and Hook unless I\u2019ve died a few times or the hero match-up in the lane doesn\u2019t favor me. If you\u2019re also being pressured in the lane, start leveling up your Sticky Bombs early and attach them to your frontline creeps to prevent enemy creeps from advancing and attacking your Guardian. Late game Here, we\u2019ll up our weapon damage first using the Siphon Bullets; however, if you\u2019re running short on Souls, you can first grab the Toxic Bullets card and then swap it for Siphon Bullets. Once you\u2019ve buffed your damage, you can shift focus to get life steal with Leech. Alternatively, if you\u2019re dying a lot, focus on getting Fortitude, as it's a cheaper option to increase your health and get impressive healing when you\u2019re under enemy fire. Finally, Curse is an incredible late-game buy for Bebop, as it interrupts, silences, disarms, and prevents an enemy hero from using any items for almost four seconds. If you have a good start leading to a decent farm, Curse will help you snowball even harder. Alternate Bebop Hook build in Deadlock While we focus on primarily increasing our fire rate and damage in the regular Bebop build in Deadlock, you can run a build that emphasizes the Hook, reduces cooldowns, and makes you tanky. This means focusing on the Vitality and Spirit cards more than the Weapon upgrades: Early game: Mystic Burst, Mystic Reach, Extra Spirit, Extra Stamina, Spirit Strike Mid game: Fleetfoot, Bullet Armor, Spirit Armor, Melee Charge, Improved Cooldown Late game: Improved Burst, Improved Reach, Superior Cooldown, Improved Spirit, Warp Stone, Improved Bullet Armor, Improved Spirit Armor, Fortitude, Superior Stamina This build is similar to running a Pudge as a roaming support in Dota 2. You can gank and surprise enemy heroes with your Hook\u2019s increased range. Once hooked, your now-improved melee damage will help you and your laning partner finish them off.\u00a0 Regarding your abilities, you can obviously stick to leveling up your Hook and Uppercut. Though his damage range isn\u2019t as impressive, Bebop offers arguably the most iconic ability in any game\u2014the Hook.\u00a0 You can use the Hook to save your teammates and close the distance between you and your opponent for a quick combo, dishing a burst of damage at close range. To dominate your matches, you\u2019ll also need to get the correct early, mid, and late-game upgrades from the shop. Here\u2019s the best build for Bebop in Deadlock, including his abilities, card selection, and a few gameplay tips. Bebop\u2019s abilities in Deadlock Like all the heroes in Deadlock, Bebop offers three main abilities and an ultimate: Exploding Uppercut: Bashes the enemy units in melee range, pushing them back and causing area damage where they land.\u00a0 Sticky Bomb: Attaches a Sticky Bomb to a nearby target (ally or enemy unit, including heroes) that deals explosive damage after a short period. You can also attach a Sticky Bomb to yourself. Hook: Throws a hook that lets you grab a teammate or enemy hero. If the target hooked is an enemy, it deals a small amount of damage. The hooked targets reel in front of you, and you can quickly turn after launching the hook to change their position slightly. Hyper Beam: As the name suggests, it charges up (channeled ability) a powerful laser that deals damage and slows enemies\u2019 movement. Compared to the regular attack, the Hyper Beam has a significantly longer range, and if you activate it while in the air, you\u2019ll hover until it runs out.\u00a0 Bebop uses a heavier, slower-firing laser gun as his primary weapon, with a slow reload time in the early game. The gun has limited range; however, aiming is quite easy as the bullets are hitscan. You can make up for Bebop\u2019s limited range using his Hook to reel in an opposing hero. Additionally, if you stick a bomb and use your uppercut on the hooked target, it drops the enemy\u2019s health to almost half, making it easier for you to finish them with your left click. The best build for Bebop in Deadlock Early game For abilities, open with Hook. Unlock each ability as you level up, but pump your early skill points on the Hook and then Uppercut. I found it more comfortable to finish off enemy heroes in the early and mid-game using the combos.\u00a0 You can run different builds depending on the hero you\u2019re up against in your lane, but for the early game, you need to boost your weapon\u2019s rate of fire, increase your movement speed, and get a few upgrades to sustain the lanes. Get Rapid Rounds to buff your fire rate and Sprint Boots to improve your health regeneration and movement speed. Additionally, Spirit Strike, like the first two upgrades, is also available for 500 Souls, and it\u2019s a powerful early-game upgrade for Bebop, considering it gives a nice buff to melee damage (including Uppercut). Then, as you collect more Souls and make quick trips to The Curiosity Shops, get the following cards: Swift Striker, Mystic Burst, Bullet Lifesteal, and Bullet Resist Shredder.\u00a0 Mid game I aim to quickly grab the Enchanter\u2019s Barrier to increase my survivability, with Burst Fire and Tesla Bullets being the next upgrades that significantly buff rate of fire. Tesla Bullets also give a 25 percent chance to shock your target, and though the shock damage seems small, it adds up really well when you\u2019re constantly firing. Then, I like to pick up Silence Glyph to silence enemy heroes, Pristine Emblem for the increased weapon damage, and Enduring Speed for better move speed. Ability-wise, I stick to leveling up the Uppercut and Hook unless I\u2019ve died a few times or the hero match-up in the lane doesn\u2019t favor me. If you\u2019re also being pressured in the lane, start leveling up your Sticky Bombs early and attach them to your frontline creeps to prevent enemy creeps from advancing and attacking your Guardian. Late game Here, we\u2019ll up our weapon damage first using the Siphon Bullets; however, if you\u2019re running short on Souls, you can first grab the Toxic Bullets card and then swap it for Siphon Bullets. Once you\u2019ve buffed your damage, you can shift focus to get life steal with Leech. Alternatively, if you\u2019re dying a lot, focus on getting Fortitude, as it's a cheaper option to increase your health and get impressive healing when you\u2019re under enemy fire. Finally, Curse is an incredible late-game buy for Bebop, as it interrupts, silences, disarms, and prevents an enemy hero from using any items for almost four seconds. If you have a good start leading to a decent farm, Curse will help you snowball even harder. Alternate Bebop Hook build in Deadlock While we focus on primarily increasing our fire rate and damage in the regular Bebop build in Deadlock, you can run a build that emphasizes the Hook, reduces cooldowns, and makes you tanky. This means focusing on the Vitality and Spirit cards more than the Weapon upgrades: Early game: Mystic Burst, Mystic Reach, Extra Spirit, Extra Stamina, Spirit Strike Mid game: Fleetfoot, Bullet Armor, Spirit Armor, Melee Charge, Improved Cooldown Late game: Improved Burst, Improved Reach, Superior Cooldown, Improved Spirit, Warp Stone, Improved Bullet Armor, Improved Spirit Armor, Fortitude, Superior Stamina This build is similar to running a Pudge as a roaming support in Dota 2. You can gank and surprise enemy heroes with your Hook\u2019s increased range. Once hooked, your now-improved melee damage will help you and your laning partner finish them off.\u00a0 Regarding your abilities, you can obviously stick to leveling up your Hook and Uppercut.
