You can play in a one-vs-one duel, a two-vs-two stand-off, the street classic three-vs-three, or a regular five-vs-five. Each mode has its separate ranking system and playing in any of them only affects your ranking in that specific mode. The same applies for tiers; you will have a tier for each individual game mode.
