Overwatch<\/em> hero Symmetra will undergo a “dramatic” redesign come summer\u2014a change that’s been long overdue for the support hero.<\/p>
But according to Overwatch<\/em> lead software engineer Tim Ford, she won’t be classified as a support hero for much longer. After her rework, she’ll officially be a defense hero, Ford told Korean website Inven Global<\/a>. This will be Symmetra’s second overhaul<\/a> since the game’s release.<\/p>

Blizzard yet has to share exact details on Symmetra’s rework, though Overwatch<\/em> game director Jeff Kaplan shared a screenshot on the Overwatch<\/em> forum that hinted at some adjustments. The screenshot teases that Symmetra’s Teleport ultimate could become a normal cooldown ability, based on the number of players teleported<\/a> (31) and teleport up-time.<\/p>
