Before you enter the fortress of Illidan Stormrage, though, you\u2019ll have to complete a lengthy attunement chain to gain access to the Black Temple.\u00a0 See World of Warcraft on Amazon After completing a few quests in Shadowmoon Valley\u2014the home region of the Black Temple\u2014you\u2019ll be asked to clear a few dungeons and raids across Outland. You\u2019ll become acquainted with a faction known as the \u201cAshtongue Deathsworn,\u201d who will play a major role in your journey while completing a high-level quest chain. Here\u2019s how to attune to the Black Temple yourself in WoW: The Burning Crusade Classic.\u00a0 Shadowmoon Valley quests Your journey to Black Temple attunement will begin in Shadowmoon Valley, where a series of quests will have to be completed to begin the necessary attunement chain. The first quest, \u201cTablets of Baa\u2019ri\u201d is available to start at either the Altar of Sha\u2019tar or the Sanctum of the Stars depending on whether you\u2019re allied with the Aldor or the Scryers.\u00a0After completing a series of quests in the Baa\u2019ri Ruins, you\u2019ll be asked to collect four fragments of a Medallion of Karabor. The four fragments are held by four specific Ashtongue Corruptors: Eykenen, Haalum, Lakaan and Uylaru. Traveling north to south across the midsection of Shadowmoon Valley should net you all four fragments of the medallion.\u00a0Head to the Warden\u2019s Cage, where you\u2019ll have to kill a satyr named Zandras for a member of the Ashtongue Deathsworn. After proving your allegiance to the Deathsworn, you\u2019ll be introduced to Akama\u2014a quest giver who you\u2019ll become very familiar with.\u00a0Akama will reveal to you that the medallion fragments you collected were replicas and that the location of the final piece is known by Seer Udalo in the Arcatraz. Akama will send you into the Arcatraz dungeon to find the seer.\u00a0 The Arcatraz and the Ata\u2019mal Terrace Seer Udalo can be found in the Arcatraz, just before the room where the final boss is located. Unfortunately, Seer Udalo is dead and will be of little use to you in your quest to find the final medallion fragment. Still, the word \u201cata\u2019mal\u201d is inscribed upon the ground next to his body, which is a clue you\u2019ll bring back to Akama.\u00a0Upon hearing the word \u201cata\u2019mal,\u201d Akama will send you to the Ata\u2019mal Terrace in Shadowmoon Valley. There, you\u2019ll have to slay a warlock named Shadowlord Deathwail, in addition to three elite mobs. The fight is quite difficult, and it will take a party of players to achieve victory. Once you\u2019ve cleared the terrace, you\u2019ll have to loot the Heart of Fury and bring it back to Akama.\u00a0Once you\u2019ve brought the Heart of Fury back to Akama, you\u2019ll be sent to Shattrath City, where you\u2019ll speak with the Naaru A\u2019dal in the center of the city in order to progress the attunement chain into its final section.\u00a0 Bouncing between raids Assemble a group for Serpentshrine Cavern and kill the fourth boss of the raid, Fathom-Lord Karathress. Once the boss is defeated, speak with Seer Olum, who you\u2019ll find in a cage behind Karathress. Seer Olum will send you back to Akama to continue the attunement chain.\u00a0After returning to the Warden\u2019s Cage to pick up the next quest in the chain from Akama, head to The Eye in Tempest Keep to slay Al'ar. You\u2019ll need a raid group to take down the phoenix. Most importantly, you must be wearing the Ashtongue Cowl given to you by Akama when fighting the boss.\u00a0Return to Akama once Al\u2019ar is slain. From there, you\u2019ll be asked to travel to one final raid in the attunement chain: the Battle for Mount Hyjal. With a group assembled for that raid, take down the first boss, Rage Winterchill, and loot the lich\u2019s Time-Phased Phylactery. Return to Akama once the task is complete.\u00a0After retrieving Rage Winterchill\u2019s phylactery, Akama will send you back to Shattrath City to speak with A\u2019dal. A\u2019dal will then ask you to speak with another Naaru, Xi\u2019ri, on the steps of the Black Temple in Shadowmoon Valley.\u00a0Xi\u2019ri will provide you with a quest to ensure that Akama and Maiev enter the Black Temple undetected after the Naaru creates a distraction.
