His stellar growth has seen him become the second most-subscribed streamer on the platform, hitting 60,000 subscribers. But, the biggest talking point around streaming\u2019s latest sensation hasn't been the monumental achievement. Instead, it\u2019s been the perceived silence from Twitch, especially after Asmongold called them out for not acknowledging Cenat\u2019s meteoritic rise. Kai Cenat has stayed silent about on the whole furore so far. That is, until he saw a video midway through his Aug. 31 stream of YouTuber Low Tier God saying it\u2019s probably because they don\u2019t think his content is very marketable. \u201cI don\u2019t care how lit he is. Can anybody guess why they wouldn\u2019t run behind Kai Cenat to put him on their front page or acknowledge him or anything like that?\u201d asked Low Tier God. After a brief pause, he answered his own question. \u201cIt\u2019s bad marketing,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen you go in the stream, the n-word is said a million freakin\u2019 times, and it doesn\u2019t represent the company.\u201d However, Kai Cenat didn\u2019t make it that far. After hearing the first part of Low Tier God\u2019s take, he paused the clip and said the n-word several times on stream, implying he has no intention to change. \u201dNo,\u201d Cenat added in reply to God\u2019s claims. \u201dWhy? Why?! What the fuck?\u201d In 2020, Twitch issued a statement they had a zero-tolerance policy for the term when used for the purpose of hate or harassment. However, Kai Cenat\u2019s usage doesn\u2019t fit that bill. Still, Low Tier God thinks that\u2019s one of the reasons why Kai Cenat isn\u2019t a marketable prospect for the Amazon-owned platform, which, in turn, explains why they\u2019ve ignored his success. \u201cIf I\u2019m investing in Twitch\u2026\u00a0 I\u2019m not going to have that shit on the front page of the company.
