OnGameNet, a top Korean esports channel, will be launching a league for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds <\/em>in the early stages of next year.<\/p>
OGN will be building a state-of-the-art broadcasting facility for the league that will be capable of seating up to 100 competitors at any time, according to a report from DailySports<\/a>.<\/p>

On Monday, top Korean esports organization KSV announced that two former Overwatch<\/em> pros would be heading up its brand new PUBG<\/em> team<\/a>. This announcement coupled with OGN’s seems to solidify the thought that PUBG<\/em> has a solid future in esports.<\/p>
PUBG<\/em> has only had one major esports LAN event thus far, with August’s PUBG<\/em> gamescom Invitational<\/a>. The game’s next tournament will be at IEM Oakland<\/a> on Nov. 18 and 19.<\/p>
