In League of Legends Patch 10.1, the first update of the new year, Ardent Censer will no longer work with self-shields, according to a Reddit comment from a Riot staffer.
This is a big change to the item, as some strange uses of the item have become more and more popular since the feature was added during the pre-season.
]]>Sett, League of Legends’ next champion, is certainly catching the eye of players everywhere.
He’s half-Vastayan, a mama’s boy, and shredded as hell. What’s caught the most attention, however, is the fact that Sett is definitely, totally, without a doubt Draven’s son.
]]>League of Legends pro player Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen was playing against fellow pro Luka “Perkz” Perković on Perkz’s stream earlier today, when Broxah decided to have a montage moment.
In other words, he initiated a one-vs-two against Perkz and his jungler, who was probably (but unconfirmed to be) Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski. And when we say “have a montage moment,” it would be more accurate to say that he attempted a montage moment, because he really didn’t succeed.
]]>Riot staffer Matt “Riot PhRoXzOn” Leung-Harrison tweeted today that there was a major bug with Sylas on the League of Legends Public Beta Environment (PBE).
It appears that Sylas’ attack speed wasn’t functioning on his passive attacks, which could hinder his gameplay. PhRoXzOn says that the bug won’t be fixed on the PBE today, but players should see the fix roll out tomorrow as long as there are no “unforeseen issues.”
]]>League of Legends pro Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski was streaming on Twitch today when he revealed the reason behind G2 Esports’ next role swap, which we’re still not sure isn’t a joke. Jankos claimed that the roles were swapped because Rasmus “Caps” Winther wanted to beat his former teammate Martin “Rekkles” Larsson in bot lane, so he swapped.
Jankos said on stream that Caps left Fnatic, and the team was sad about him leaving. Then Caps beat Rekkles but wasn’t in the same role as the AD carry. Now, according to Jankos, Caps wants to beat Rekkles again but in the same role this time.
]]>League of Legends has been releasing champions at a blistering pace recently. But that won’t be the case for long, according to Riot lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter.
Scruffy said on the official League forums earlier today that Riot will be slowing the release of champions headed into 2020.
]]>Riot Games has been releasing tons of new League of Legends champions lately and players aren’t sure if that’s a good thing. The latest one, Sett, was revealed the day his predecessor, Aphelios, arrived in-game. And Aphelios, for that matter, came almost immediately after Senna, who was revealed and released alongside the True Damage collaboration for the 2019 World Championship.
That’s three champions in a short time span, and that short time span is much narrower than anything League players are used to. Typically, four or five champions will be released across an entire year or competitive season. With Sett, we’ve had three in about two months, and that’s after Qiyana, Sylas, and Yuumi were all released in 2019 already. While this year didn’t hold the most amount of champions released in one season, the timing in between has become much shorter leading into 2020.
]]>League of Legends’ latest champion, Sett, is now on the PBE. And that means we finally have full descriptions and visuals of his abilities.
He appears to be an entirely melee champion based on his abilities. He will likely be released some time in January, but he’ll stay on the PBE for a while, so players have a chance to look at his abilities more closely.
]]>There’s an update coming to Fortnite tomorrow. The v11.30 update will be released after downtime, which is set to begin at 3am CT, according to Epic.
While some things are up in the air about the update, players are guessing that Christmas skins will be included, but others are trying not to get their hopes up. The last Fortnite update was released last week, but it was a small update to address bugs, so players have been eagerly waiting for this update, as it will most likely include larger content additions.
]]>Popular Fortnite player and Twitch personality Turner “Tfue” Tenney was playing on stream earlier today when a specific play caught viewers’ attention. While building a structure, Tfue was downed. His teammate, Scoped, was trying to help revive him.
In the play, Scoped knocks down the structure to get Tfue to a lower level while enemies were shooting at them. Scoped continued to try to repair the shelter as it was being shot at while also reviving Tfue. After a few seconds, Scoped was tired of multitasking and decided to take matters into his own hands.
