It takes around 58 hours to complete Elden Ring, but the calculations don’t involve the time players spend while creating their characters. While some players can just skip forward to the process to jump right into the action, others may take their time to ensure they get the perfect start.

Here’s our guide for the best starting classes in Elden Ring.

Dota 2 ESL One Bangkok 2024: Schedule, brackets, and morehttps://dotesports.com/dota-2/news/dota-2-esl-one-bangkok-2024-schedule-brackets-and-morehttps://dotesports.com/dota-2/news/dota-2-esl-one-bangkok-2024-schedule-brackets-and-more#respondFri, 13 Dec 2024 16:57:50 +0000https://dotesports.com/?p=1477642Last major tournament of the year. Here's the schedule, brackets, and more for Dota 2 ESL One Bangkok 2024.]]>

The ESL Pro Circuit is holding another million-dollar Dota 2 tournament before the end of the year. This time, it’s in Southeast Asia. 12 teams will fight it out over the next week in Bangkok, Thailand for the $300,000 top spot and a chunk of ESL Pro Tour points.

Right after Blast Slam I, this will be another tournament on the 7.37e patch. However, as the meta has evolved throughout that Dota 2 tournament and the week after, it seems like ESL One Bangkok will not see similar dominance of Alchemist, Morphling, and Dragon Knight from the carry pool. Naturally, other roles will have new heroes emerging, too, as a ripple effect.

There is no better way to round up a season of professional competition than with the most pivotal tournament. That’s why everyone’s beyond excited about the Perfect World Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major, the first Valve-sponsored event in the franchise to take place in Asia.

In the past, Majors usually took place in the late spring and in the middle of fall. Valve decided to give a twist to the calendar by scheduling Perfect World Shanghai CS2 Major right before the winter break, finishing the season with a bang. And it will truly be a blast, since the strongest teams in the world have made it to the tournament by competing in the RMRs.

BLAST’s first foray into Dota 2 kicked off with BLAST Slam I. With 10 teams and an unusual structure (at least in Dota esports terms), the $1 million tournament has already raised some eyebrows in the MOBA community.

Incidentally, it’s the first tier-one tournament since the release of Patch 7.37e. So, it’ll likely be somewhat of a departure from the stale 7.37d meta we witnessed since BetBoom Dacha and DreamLeague Season 24.

The Dota 2 esports calendar keeps on giving. Right after BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, it’s DreamLeague Season 24’s turn to pit the best teams against each other. And with ESL Pro Tour Ranking at stake (which qualifies teams directly into next year’s Riyadh Masters), we can expect to witness some amazing competition. Besides, this online tournament has a prize pool of $1 million. That’s no joke, either.

All eyes will be on HEROIC, who will return after their dream run in PGL Wallachia Season 2. It’ll be interesting to see how they’ll fare against teams like Falcons and Tundra. Fan-favorite Nigma Galaxy, too, will be getting screentime in a premier Dota 2 tournament after a long while.

BetBoom Dacha returns to Dota 2, this time in Belgrade, for a million-dollar LAN tournament, with the world’s 12 top Dota teams eyeing the prize.

This will mark Team Liquid’s return after their TI win a month back, albeit with their new offlaner. The latest Dota 2 sensation, Heroic, will not be present here after their dream run in PGL Wallachia Season 2. However, the competition looks stacked as the top four teams in The International 2024—Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, Tundra Esports, and Team Falcons—would like to prove their mettle again.

Best Reinforced Iron Plates Factory Layout in Satisfactoryhttps://dotesports.com/satisfactory/news/best-reinforced-iron-plates-factory-layout-in-satisfactoryhttps://dotesports.com/satisfactory/news/best-reinforced-iron-plates-factory-layout-in-satisfactory#respondMon, 07 Oct 2024 07:47:28 +0000https://dotesports.com/?p=1356848Clean and efficient setups without spaghetti.]]>

Reinforced Iron Plate is the first item you encounter in Satisfactory, requiring two items to make it. This means, unlike the Iron Plates, Iron Rods, and Screws that you were producing for the prior milestones via Constructor, you need the Assembler for the first time to automate its production.

Reinforced Iron Plates are needed to build machines like Constructors and Assemblers, but they’ll be used most for Mk.2 Conveyor Belts. So, the way to go is to automate their production as soon as possible.

Dota 2 post-TI 2024 roster shuffle: All moves, signings, and morehttps://dotesports.com/dota-2/news/dota-2-post-ti-2024-roster-shuffle-all-moves-signings-and-morehttps://dotesports.com/dota-2/news/dota-2-post-ti-2024-roster-shuffle-all-moves-signings-and-more#respondTue, 01 Oct 2024 13:20:00 +0000https://dotesports.com/?p=1343768Even a few top squads at TI won't be the same next season.]]>

The 2024 edition of The International has wrapped, and you know what that means: It’s Dota 2 rostermania time. Teams will be looking to adjust heading into the next season, which kicks off just weeks after TI wrapped up in Denmark.

There’s no better time to make necessary roster changes than after TI, and we’ve seen some pretty huge swaps come out of the post-TI season. 2024 has been no different already; teams that didn’t qualify for Dota‘s pinnacle tournament didn’t even wait for the event to end before pulling the trigger on a swap or two. Without the DPC in place, there’s no hard date on roster locks, but with qualifiers for the likes of BetBoom Dacha and DreamLeague creeping ever closer, teams won’t be waiting too long to lock in their five players for the season ahead.
