It's somewhat short but doesn't overstay its welcome. ]]>Kell’s Fall is the Exotic mission for Destiny 2‘s Episode Revenant, and as usual, it has a few secrets and puzzles to solve. These tricks are a bit more musical than usual, so if you have a sharp ear, you can find some fun answers to some of the puzzles.
The secrets are a side dish to the ongoing story, with the Guardian heading to a major confrontation against Fikrul. Kell’s Fall also plays with mirrors, letting you walk between two realms (not unlike the Duality dungeon, but much simpler). If you survive Fikrul’s offense, you get the Slayer’s Fang Exotic shotgun—though getting its four catalysts is a different secret altogether.

Nothing you can't fix with the power of music, except maybe a few puzzles.]]>The organ in Kell’s Fall might be the most puzzling part of the Exotic mission. This functional instrument can play a myriad of songs, but typing the correct notes triggers extra effects and solves some of the mysteries in the quest—when it doesn’t create more questions, that is.
When fully repaired, the instrument has 13 keys. This is enough to start on a C note, run through a full octave, and end on a higher C. If you’re quick and dextrous enough, you can play almost anything.

Getting all of them can take less time than you'd expect.]]>Slayer’s Fang was the highlight of the seasonal weapons from Destiny 2‘s Episode Revenant—and it gets even better if you use a catalyst or four with it. Like other craftable Exotics, you can slot a few different catalysts and tailor this shotgun to your playstyle.
Slayer’s Fang fires a hefty crystal that shatters into smaller crystals after hitting a target, ricocheting around enemies. It’s even better in enclosed spaces, with shrapnel bouncing off the walls and onto enemies to fill your screen with numbers, Warframe-style.

The new Exotic was part of the last batch of new gear with Revenant’s third and final act, arriving alongside the Kell’s Fall mission. The quest takes the Guardian through Fikrul’s lair, with a little bit of smoke and mirrors to go with it. It’s as close as Bungie has gotten to the vampire hunter concept the studio touted as Revenant’s theme, though it still lacks a bit in that end.

Luckily for gamers, they come with rewards to match. Each week, at least one Nightfall weapon is in rotation and can drop from Nightfall completions.
Higher difficulties have better odds, and Destiny 2 guardians brave enough to face Grandmasters will get an Adept version of whatever weapon is on tap that week. Revenant is bringing a few Grandmasters on the challenging or annoying side, including Liminality, the Corrupted, Proving Grounds, and the Lightblade—which are (or were) among the trickiest at the time of their release.
