There’s nothing worse than acquiring an exclusive item in Stardew Valley only to end up accidentally throwing it away or otherwise losing it. Luckily, as of the 1.6.9 update, there’s a way to get your precious items back through the Lost Items Shop.
Recovering your previous lost items isn’t an easy task if you don’t know where to look. You also need a pretty decent amount of gold to get them back. This process has a lot of steps, but reclaiming your lost valuables is certainly worth the effort, so here’s how to find the Lost Items Shop in Stardew Valley.
]]>The Stardew Valley community never fails to amaze, and one fan recently unveiled a huge LEGO replica of the game’s beloved Pelican Town. Complete with many NPC houses and game locations, the recreation was displayed at the BrickCon exhibition in Seattle, Washington.
The 75,000-piece build was the brainchild of Steve Jensen, a fan working on it since 2022. The replica featured several iconic locations from the game, including Marnie’s Ranch with its silos, the Wizard’s Tower, The Stardrop Saloon, Willy’s Fish Shop, and JojaMart.

Fortnite doesn’t solely collaborate with its fellow industry powerhouses, as other indie hits like Among Us and Lethal Company have previously made it through the vaunted doors of the Battle Bus. If solo Stardew developer Eric Barone, AKA ConcernedApe, has anything to say about it, though, the next character to join Jonesy on the battlefield will be none other than boozy, curmudgeonly bus driver Pam.
]]>The developer of the popular cozy farming simulation game Stardew Valley, Eric Barone, confirmed on Monday that players will never have to pay a dime for a game’s upcoming update or DLC, and everyone can enjoy the content free of cost.
While assuring a fan on X (formerly Twitter) about the game’s future updates and DLCs, Barone said, “I swear on the honor of my family name, I will never charge money for a DLC or update for as long as I live.” The Stardew Valley developer further joked and promised the community to “shame him” if he violated the oath by taking a screengrab of the tweet to immortalize his views on the game’s monetization system.
]]>Baldur’s Gate 3 and Stardew Valley is crossing over in an incredible new fan-made mod now dubbed “Baldur’s Village.” The mod includes a new map and many characters from BG3 as residents, with Astarion and Halsin being eligible for marriage.
The team today revealed the progress of the BG3 x Stardew Valley mod as well as all the new features now expected to be included, ranging from a new store and BG3 characters to updated schedules, designs, and seasonal outfits. And, on top of all those reveals, it now looks like the patch will land in Fall or Winter, as reported by PC Gamer.
]]>Elden Ring, Stardew Valley, Hades and Hades 2, Hogwarts Legacy, and Baldur’s Gate 3 are some of the most played games on the Steam Deck from June. You can now grab most of these titles for a steal in Steam’s Summer Sale, which ends on July 11.
With the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, the first-ever DLC for Elden Ring, it’s no surprise that this title was the most played game on the Steam Deck for June. It’s sales have only been helped by the fact it’s incredible—and its Steam Deck verified, which means it runs smoothly and shouldn’t require any keyboard inputs.
]]>Arthur “Mr. Podunkian” Lee, a key developer behind Stardew Valley updates 1.4 and 1.5, recently shared insights on his departure from the project and his strained relationship with Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe.
While Stardew Valley 1.0 remains a one-man game, Arthur Lee, a California-based developer, has been a vital part of a team contributing to updates 1.4 and 1.5 of the popular game. In July 2022, however, Lee announced he would be leaving work on Stardew Valley to “pursue his independent projects.” In a recent X (formerly known as Twitter) post, Mr. Podunkian shared a screenshot of a candid Discord chat, airing his grievances about compensation and ownership issues with the Stardew Valley creator.
]]>Following the release of Stardew Valley‘s 1.6 update, creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone has stated he has no further plans for the farming sim, but hasn’t entirely ruled out giving it another update.
Speaking with UK outlet Metro on April 3, Barone acknowledged how previous updates were meant to be the last, yet he wound up adding more to Stardew Valley anyway. “While there’s nothing planned, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was more in the future,” he said. “Basing it off the past, any time I thought it was the last, it never was the last.”
]]>Stardew Valley’s latest update has shown just how powerful continued developer support can be for older games.
The farming simulator has soared to new heights on Steam following its most recent patch, reaching a player count that’s nearly two-and-a-half times greater than its previous peak on the Valve platform. On March 23, Stardew Valley hit just over 224,000 concurrent players, according to Steam Charts, flying past its previous peak of 94,000 in December 2020.
