But where are they, and how do you use them to unlock a new villager? What are the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley? The\u00a0Matryoshka Dolls, added in The Pumpkin King Returns update, are\u00a0four different Matryoshka dolls\u00a0players must find around Dreamlight Valley. As soon as you've found and picked up the first doll, this will trigger the start of the quest,\u00a0Something Comes A'Knocking\u2014this is a friendship quest with Merlin. During this quest, you are tasked with finding all the Matryoshka Dolls and placing them into a\u00a0special 'pumpkin' tree\u00a0in the\u00a0Forgotten Lands\u00a0to\u00a0unlock Jack Skellington.\u00a0However, finding these Matryoshka Dolls in Dreamlight Valley is a challenging task and is just the first thing you must do to get Jack Skellingon's level 10 reward. How to get the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley To get the Matryoshka Dolls in Dreamlight Valley, you'll need to wander around the valley and pick them up as you find them. They can appear in any Dreamlight Valley biome, so you'll need to check all of them, which include: The Plaza The Peaceful Meadow Dazzle Beach The Glade of Trust The Forest of Valor Frosted Heights The Forgotten Lands The Sunlit Plateau Thankfully, these will only spawn in open areas, meaning you won't find them inside houses, caves, or other instances. And they don't spawn on the Eternity Isle, which is the realm that unlocks after purchasing the A Rift in Time expansion. All Matryoshka Dolls locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley All four of the Matryoshka Dolls spawn in a different random location for every player. But the first doll appears in the Plaza for all players, so this is the best spot to start your search. For me, the first doll was almost at the center of the Plaza, sitting on the ground. The next doll I found was in the Sunlit Plateau biome. This Matryoshka Doll was sitting in the southern region of the biome near the ramp leading up to the Forgotten Lands biome. My next Matryoshka Doll was hidden behind some furnishings I had placed in the\u00a0Frosted Heights biome.\u00a0This doll was sitting to the left of the\u00a0talking portal\u00a0you may have previously visited to unlock\u00a0Olaf. The fourth and final doll sat in the northwest corner of the\u00a0Forest of Valor biome. This one was close to the ramp leading up to the Frosted Heights biome. How to use the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley Once you have obtained all four Matryoshka Dolls, you can use them to unlock Jack Skellington. To use the Matryoshka Dolls, follow these easy steps: Head to the\u00a0Forgotten Lands biome. Look for a\u00a0tall, thin tree\u00a0with a\u00a0pumpkin carved\u00a0into the bottom region of the\u00a0trunk.\u00a0You can visit this tree during the hunt to drop off the dolls as you find them or wait until you've collected them all. \u00a0As the Forgotten Lands is dark, it can be hard to see this tree, especially if the pumpkin carving is facing away from you. The best way to tell this tree apart is by looking at its base, as\u00a0red and white candies\u00a0surround it. Interact with this tree\u2014this will open your inventory and a slot in the tree. Place each of the Matryoshka Dolls into the slot. The pumpkin on the tree will become more orange as you add each Matryoshka Doll. As soon as all four dolls have been placed inside the tree, a cutscene will play, and Jack Skellington will arrive in your valley. Then, to complete the quest, Something Comes A'Knocking, you must: Talk to Jack, who asks you to find him a home. Place his home somewhere in Dreamlight Valley. Use the Scrooge sign to pay for Jack's house to be built\u2014this costs 5,000 coins. Talk to Jack once more, and you'll complete this quest. Jack Skellington is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I loved finding these Matryoshka Dolls and his pumpkin tree to bring him into Dreamlight Valley. The\u00a0Matryoshka Dolls, added in The Pumpkin King Returns update, are\u00a0four different Matryoshka dolls\u00a0players must find around Dreamlight Valley. As soon as you've found and picked up the first doll, this will trigger the start of the quest,\u00a0Something Comes A'Knocking\u2014this is a friendship quest with Merlin. During this quest, you are tasked with finding all the Matryoshka Dolls and placing them into a\u00a0special 'pumpkin' tree\u00a0in the\u00a0Forgotten Lands\u00a0to\u00a0unlock Jack Skellington.\u00a0However, finding these Matryoshka Dolls in Dreamlight Valley is a challenging task and is just the first thing you must do to get Jack Skellingon's level 10 reward. How to get the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley To get the Matryoshka Dolls in Dreamlight Valley, you'll need to wander around the valley and pick them up as you find them. They can appear in any Dreamlight Valley biome, so you'll need to check all of them, which include: The Plaza The Peaceful Meadow Dazzle Beach The Glade of Trust The Forest of Valor Frosted Heights The Forgotten Lands The Sunlit Plateau Thankfully, these will only spawn in open areas, meaning you won't find them inside houses, caves, or other instances. And they don't spawn on the Eternity Isle, which is the realm that unlocks after purchasing the A Rift in Time expansion. All Matryoshka Dolls locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley All four of the Matryoshka Dolls spawn in a different random location for every player. But the first doll appears in the Plaza for all players, so this is the best spot to start your search. For me, the first doll was almost at the center of the Plaza, sitting on the ground. The next doll I found was in the Sunlit Plateau biome. This Matryoshka Doll was sitting in the southern region of the biome near the ramp leading up to the Forgotten Lands biome. My next Matryoshka Doll was hidden behind some furnishings I had placed in the\u00a0Frosted Heights biome.\u00a0This doll was sitting to the left of the\u00a0talking portal\u00a0you may have previously visited to unlock\u00a0Olaf. The fourth and final doll sat in the northwest corner of the\u00a0Forest of Valor biome. This one was close to the ramp leading up to the Frosted Heights biome. How to use the Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley Once you have obtained all four Matryoshka Dolls, you can use them to unlock Jack Skellington. To use the Matryoshka Dolls, follow these easy steps: Head to the\u00a0Forgotten Lands biome. Look for a\u00a0tall, thin tree\u00a0with a\u00a0pumpkin carved\u00a0into the bottom region of the\u00a0trunk.\u00a0You can visit this tree during the hunt to drop off the dolls as you find them or wait until you've collected them all. \u00a0As the Forgotten Lands is dark, it can be hard to see this tree, especially if the pumpkin carving is facing away from you. The best way to tell this tree apart is by looking at its base, as\u00a0red and white candies\u00a0surround it. Interact with this tree\u2014this will open your inventory and a slot in the tree. Place each of the Matryoshka Dolls into the slot. The pumpkin on the tree will become more orange as you add each Matryoshka Doll. As soon as all four dolls have been placed inside the tree, a cutscene will play, and Jack Skellington will arrive in your valley. Then, to complete the quest, Something Comes A'Knocking, you must: Talk to Jack, who asks you to find him a home. Place his home somewhere in Dreamlight Valley. Use the Scrooge sign to pay for Jack's house to be built\u2014this costs 5,000 coins. Talk to Jack once more, and you'll complete this quest. Jack Skellington is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I loved finding these Matryoshka Dolls and his pumpkin tree to bring him into Dreamlight Valley.
