Call of Duty<\/em>: Modern Warfare 3’s<\/em> first season arrived shortly after the game’s November 2023 release, alongside a fresh content update. MW3 <\/em>season one’s end<\/strong> is slowly approaching, though, meaning there’s limited time for you to finish all the timed content before the new one arrives.<\/p>

MW3<\/em> season one has been a blast so far. From new maps to blueprints to collect, diehard fans of the franchise have been busy. Considering the developers also roll out more content gradually throughout a season, there tends to be something to look for in each season regardless of which mode players enjoy most.<\/p>

Here’s everything to know about MW3’s <\/em>season one end date, and when to expect season two to begin.<\/p>

We expect\u00a0MW3<\/em>\u00a0season one to end<\/strong>\u00a0on Feb. 6,<\/strong> according to the in-game countdown timer that appears top left in the menus.<\/p>

Though Sledgehammer hasn’t announced the official end date for season one yet, we anticipate a February finish based on the duration of previous\u00a0CoD<\/em>\u00a0seasons and almost all\u00a0MW3<\/em>\u00a0seasons start and end on Wednesdays. The in-menu countdown lines up with this prediction.<\/p>

Before\u00a0MW3<\/em>\u00a0season one ends, Sledgehammer plans to introduce\u00a0ranked play<\/a>. Alongside\u00a0MW3<\/em>\u00a0season one reloaded<\/a>, fans will also receive a burst of mid-season content featuring weapons, maps, modes,\u00a0Zombies<\/em>, and Warzone <\/em>updates.<\/p>

When does MW3 <\/em>season two start?<\/h2>

MW3<\/em> season two <\/strong>will start right after season one ends, meaning it should<\/strong> begin on Feb. 7<\/strong>. This is the first Wednesday of February 2024<\/strong>, and will likely mark the beginning of season two’s two-month run and content.<\/p>

It’s currently unknown what season two will bring in MW3<\/em>, but it will undoubtedly include a new battle pass, store bundles, maps, weapons, and a whole lot more for MW3<\/em>, Warzone<\/em>, and MW3 Zombies <\/em>modes. If there are any\u00a0MW3\u00a0<\/em>battle pass<\/a>\u00a0rewards from season one you would like to unlock, you’ll have time until the beginning of February. Once the rotation to the new season is complete, you’ll be working with a new set of battle pass rewards.<\/p>
