The final stop on the road to the Esports World Cup has come and gone: DreamLeague Season 23<\/strong> kicked off Monday, May 20 and aside from the customary million-dollar prize pool, teams fought for a coveted spot in Riyadh.<\/p>
Five Dota 2<\/a><\/em> teams\u2014BetBoom, Liquid, Xtreme, Gaimin Gladiators, and Falcons\u2014already guaranteed invites to Saudi Arabia<\/a> which means three spots were still up for grabs. OG, Spirit, and Tundra were next in line to lock their qualification spots in, while HEROIC, Shopify Rebellion, and Aurora sat just outside the top eight.<\/p>
