While Rubin (and a few community members) tried blaming the affected player\u2019s fluctuating internet connection, several fans voiced concerns about the game's undeniably broken netcode.\u00a0 \u201cNo. I disagree,\u201d a player replied to commenters saying it\u2019s just bad network. \u201cThis same shit happened to me every other match. My ping is 35. Xbox series\u00a0with 1000 megs upload and download.\u201d Later, replying to a player report, Rubin confirmed mitigating XDefiant\u2019s netcode hiccups is Ubisoft\u2019s \u201ctop priority\u201d right now. \u201cThere are two major areas where we can try and improve,\u201d he explained.\u00a0 \u201cAs I said, we are not dismissing the issues and this is our top priority.
