Melee finals, Nintendo dropped a bombshell on the fans in attendance.A brand-new Nintendo Direct, Nintendo's main livestream video series that announces new information about upcoming games, has been revealed for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Direct will take place on Aug. 8 and will be streamed on Nintendo's Twitch account.Not much is known about what the Direct will have to offer. When the game was first revealed at E3, Nintendo noted that it would include 66 characters\u00a0at launch\u2014but only 65 have been revealed at this time, with the last being Ridley.
