While keeping tabs on the best champions in the game is crucial, looking out for the worst is also important. Knowing the worst-performing champions in League can be a double-edged sword. You'll likely build a better champion pool by avoiding the underperformers, but it could also make you lose focus when someone on your team picks them. Having a low win rate doesn't specifically mean a champion is unplayable in League. They may simply be challenging mechanically, which has happened numerous times in recent months. Here are the five worst champions in the game by their win rates in their usual roles according to U.GG. Miss Fortune's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.13 percent Miss Fortune is usually associated with the ADC role, and rightfully so. It's been her domain ever since she was added to the game in 2010. However, for the past few years a few players picked her in the support position, including GorillA at the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, who started the trend. Unfortunately, the pirate has been doing horribly there. While picking Miss Fortune for support has its pros and can often surprise enemies with the amount of firepower she gives your team, the pick can also quite easily backfire on you. Without proper utility or engage, you need to direct these duties to other champions, most regularly a jungler and a top laner. In the current meta it's rather tricky to achieve, with the Miss Fortune support having a 45.13 percent win rate, according to U.GG. On the other hand, she's currently one of the best ADCs in her usual role, with a win rate of over 51 percent. Rengar's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.42 percent While champions like Gangplank and K'Sante are tough to learn and even tougher to master for casual players, some champs are just plain bad. This is the case with Rengar, who's been sitting at the bottom of the jungle leaderboards for a couple of patches. Rengar has become arguably forgotten by the developer, who makes minor changes to the champion from time to time. These updates have hardly improved the jungler's pick or win rate in the Summoner's Rift, which currently sits at 45.42 percent. Rengar's gameplay relies on assassinating squishy enemies in a matter of seconds, but his damage output currently isn't enough to pose a real threat. K'Sante\u2019s win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.56 percent K'Sante has seen direct buffs in Patch 14.10 and Patch 14.11, where his abilities and base stats were adjusted. He also has been a major pick in the pro meta for a few updates now. This champion was an essential top lane pick at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, played on Patch 14.8. But despite doing well in the competitive scene, casual players still struggle to properly utilize K'Sante in their games. With a horrendous 45.56 percent win rate in the top lane, he's the worst in his position. Skarner's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 46.65 percent Since his rework, Skarner has been stealing the spotlight in League, being played in almost every role and boasting massive win rates. That has been a thing until now. In the latest update, he has hit a rock-bottom win rate in the jungle of 46.65 percent. That's not a random coincidence. In Patch 14.13, Skarner has been hit with yet another nerf hammer. This time, his Q has received a higher mana cost and deals less damage from now on. Apparently, this was enough to make the Scorpion King sit back in leaderboards, at least for now. Corki's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 46.43 percent While Corki mid lane has been reigning supreme in the competitive leagues across the globe, he has been doing horribly in the solo queue. In updates previous to Patch 14.14, he has been one of the strongest picks for the mid lane alongside Tristana. The Yordle got direct nerfs in the latest update, which ended her domain in the role. When it comes to Corki, he's still viable, though he also had his base health reduced, which greatly impacted his laning phase. Season 14 has so far seen a meta of AP-based junglers dominating the role. To answer them, teams started picking AD mid laners, mostly Corki and Tristana, who have enormous range and scale well. The recent changes finally addressed these two champs, and it seems like they did them justice. As of now, Corki's win rate in the mid lane sits at an abysmal 46.43 percent. For the record, Corki has seen low win rates in solo queue for numerous patches in a row now. Low-ranked players find it tough to properly utilize him, especially since he's based on skill shots. Before minor buffs in Patch 14.13, he hit rock bottom in Patch 14.12 with 45.46 percent win rate, according to U.GG. Honorable mention: Aurora Aurora has made her debut in League's Patch 14.14. She's primarily a top laner and a mid laner, and in these two roles she's quite awful, but not the worst. Therefore, we decided to give her an honorable mention this time around. In these two roles, she has a decent pick rate. It's 3.7 percent in the top lane and almost 11 percent in the mid lane, according to U.GG. However, her win rates is a different tale. In the role where she has the highest pick rate, she only has a 47.41 percent win rate. She has recorded a slightly better score in the top lane, with 47.64 percent at the time of writing. Surprisingly, some players have been trying her out in other roles. She has been picked over 45,000 times in the support role and over 23,000 times in the jungle. These picks have converted to 43.25 and 37.95 percent win rate, respectively. While keeping tabs on the best champions in the game is crucial, looking out for the worst is also important. Knowing the worst-performing champions in League can be a double-edged sword. You'll likely build a better champion pool by avoiding the underperformers, but it could also make you lose focus when someone on your team picks them. Having a low win rate doesn't specifically mean a champion is unplayable in League. They may simply be challenging mechanically, which has happened numerous times in recent months. Here are the five worst champions in the game by their win rates in their usual roles according to U.GG. Miss Fortune's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.13 percent Miss Fortune is usually associated with the ADC role, and rightfully so. It's been her domain ever since she was added to the game in 2010. However, for the past few years a few players picked her in the support position, including GorillA at the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, who started the trend. Unfortunately, the pirate has been doing horribly there. While picking Miss Fortune for support has its pros and can often surprise enemies with the amount of firepower she gives your team, the pick can also quite easily backfire on you. Without proper utility or engage, you need to direct these duties to other champions, most regularly a jungler and a top laner. In the current meta it's rather tricky to achieve, with the Miss Fortune support having a 45.13 percent win rate, according to U.GG. On the other hand, she's currently one of the best ADCs in her usual role, with a win rate of over 51 percent. Rengar's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.42 percent While champions like Gangplank and K'Sante are tough to learn and even tougher to master for casual players, some champs are just plain bad. This is the case with Rengar, who's been sitting at the bottom of the jungle leaderboards for a couple of patches. Rengar has become arguably forgotten by the developer, who makes minor changes to the champion from time to time. These updates have hardly improved the jungler's pick or win rate in the Summoner's Rift, which currently sits at 45.42 percent. Rengar's gameplay relies on assassinating squishy enemies in a matter of seconds, but his damage output currently isn't enough to pose a real threat. K'Sante\u2019s win rate on League Patch 14.14: 45.56 percent K'Sante has seen direct buffs in Patch 14.10 and Patch 14.11, where his abilities and base stats were adjusted. He also has been a major pick in the pro meta for a few updates now. This champion was an essential top lane pick at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024, played on Patch 14.8. But despite doing well in the competitive scene, casual players still struggle to properly utilize K'Sante in their games. With a horrendous 45.56 percent win rate in the top lane, he's the worst in his position. Skarner's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 46.65 percent Since his rework, Skarner has been stealing the spotlight in League, being played in almost every role and boasting massive win rates. That has been a thing until now. In the latest update, he has hit a rock-bottom win rate in the jungle of 46.65 percent. That's not a random coincidence. In Patch 14.13, Skarner has been hit with yet another nerf hammer. This time, his Q has received a higher mana cost and deals less damage from now on. Apparently, this was enough to make the Scorpion King sit back in leaderboards, at least for now. Corki's win rate on League Patch 14.14: 46.43 percent While Corki mid lane has been reigning supreme in the competitive leagues across the globe, he has been doing horribly in the solo queue. In updates previous to Patch 14.14, he has been one of the strongest picks for the mid lane alongside Tristana. The Yordle got direct nerfs in the latest update, which ended her domain in the role. When it comes to Corki, he's still viable, though he also had his base health reduced, which greatly impacted his laning phase. Season 14 has so far seen a meta of AP-based junglers dominating the role. To answer them, teams started picking AD mid laners, mostly Corki and Tristana, who have enormous range and scale well. The recent changes finally addressed these two champs, and it seems like they did them justice. As of now, Corki's win rate in the mid lane sits at an abysmal 46.43 percent. For the record, Corki has seen low win rates in solo queue for numerous patches in a row now. Low-ranked players find it tough to properly utilize him, especially since he's based on skill shots. Before minor buffs in Patch 14.13, he hit rock bottom in Patch 14.12 with 45.46 percent win rate, according to U.GG. Honorable mention: Aurora Aurora has made her debut in League's Patch 14.14. She's primarily a top laner and a mid laner, and in these two roles she's quite awful, but not the worst. Therefore, we decided to give her an honorable mention this time around. In these two roles, she has a decent pick rate. It's 3.7 percent in the top lane and almost 11 percent in the mid lane, according to U.GG. However, her win rates is a different tale. In the role where she has the highest pick rate, she only has a 47.41 percent win rate. She has recorded a slightly better score in the top lane, with 47.64 percent at the time of writing. Surprisingly, some players have been trying her out in other roles. She has been picked over 45,000 times in the support role and over 23,000 times in the jungle. These picks have converted to 43.25 and 37.95 percent win rate, respectively.
