Since its initiation of the deal, Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard has been under heavy scrutiny from many regulatory bodies, and the U.K. is already pushing the deal to a second phase of approval due to concerns that it might negatively affect its competitors. <\/p>
Now, Microsoft is speaking out to give more insight into its argument. In a statement to GamesIndustry.biz<\/a>, Microsoft said “the suggestion that the incumbent market leader, with clear and enduring market power, could be foreclosed by the third largest provider as a result of losing access to one title is not credible.”<\/p>
