Each split will divide the 12 teams into two groups of six, and each team will play the other teams in its group in a weekly round-robin stage. The second split will feature reseeded groups based on the points earned in split one and the newly announced Mid-Season Invitational and will also reward more points than the first split.<\/p>
The top eight teams from split one will advance to the Mid-Season Invitational at the end of March and will each have the opportunity to earn more Challengers points between splits. The top eight teams in points at the end of both splits and the Mid-Season Invitational will advance to the playoffs that begin on May 31.<\/p>
