Setting up the end of the first half of TFT Set Nine was the North American Shurima Cup featuring gameplay through Patch 13.15. Days one and two followed the same schedule as the Freljord Cup did with 128 players competing and only 32 advancing to the second weekend, joining the top Ranked players from the Set Nine ladder snapshots and the top four from the Frelord Cup.\u00a0 Aug. 12, TFT Shurima Cup standings Day three of the NA Shurima Cup showcased the top 32 from days one and two, along with the top Ranked 32 players in TFT Set Nine. Players were split into eight lobbies, with lobbies rotating every two rounds.\u00a0 Starting the tournament off with two back-to-back lobby wins was TL Robinsongz. Also winning game one lobbies were players like TSM Souless, DQA, and Cambulee. Joining the game one lobby winners' after round two at the top of the leaderboard was AMDE, World Champion rereplay who signed with Team Liquid on Aug. 11, Cambulee with a second-place lobby finish, and a second-place finish from Rainplosion.\u00a0 Lobbies were rotated after game two, with players like Prestivent, s\u00e8tsuko, TSM Souless, and Wasianiverson earning lobby wins during game three. Heading into game four on day three of the NA Shurima Cup, WasianIverson was sitting atop the leaderboard with 23 points, followed by s\u00e8tsuko with 21 points. Heading into game five, players began to feel the pressure from the upcoming top 32 cut. Players like TSM Souless, Velayy, TSM Kiyoon, and s\u00e8tsuko earned lobby wins to potentially make the cut. With one last game to play, competitors like Rereplay, Rainplosion, and BC Socks were sitting just outside the top 32 cut point threshold. And players like Wasianiverson, s\u00e8tsuko, and TSM Souless were sitting comfortably in the top three. Pushing into the day three top 32 cut to advance onto the final day of the NA Shurima Cup was BC Socks and Rereplay, joining players like DQA, AMDE, and Milala. The top 12 from the top 32 all earned bonus points heading into day four. Aug. 13, TFT Shurima Cup standings Day four began with 32 total players competing in five games, with lobbies rotating every two rounds. Half the field was cut for game six and only the top eight advanced to the final and seventh game during day four of the NA Shurima Cup. Players who finished in the top four earned competitors a direct invite to the Mid-Set Finale. TL Robinsongz, DQA, Casparwu, and HSA started off day four with a lobby win. Also having a strong start were players like Rereplay, AMDE, s\u00e8tsuko, and Prestivent. Robinsongz and Casparwu had back-to-back wins, while Rereplay, YMDN, and Connerisme secured top spots after two games with a game-two lobby win. Heading into the top 16 cut after three games, s\u00e8tsuko, Casparwu, YMDN, Prestivent, Robinsongz, and Subzeroark were sitting atop the leaderboard. Sitting on the bubble heading into game five were Wasianiverson, KPK, and Cambulee at 18 points. Wasianiverson slid into the top 16 with a game five win while s\u00e8tsuko pushed toward a top eight spot with another lobby win during game five. Securing a top-eight spot heading into the final round of the NA Shurima Cup was s\u00e8tsuko atop the leaderboard with 42 points, followed by Casparwu with 40 points, Subzeroark with 39 points, and Prestivent with 38 points. S\u00e8tsuko continued his streak into game seven, finishing third in the lobby, but earning enough points to lock him in as the Shurima Cup champion. Joining s\u00e8tsuko with a direct invite to the Runeterra Reforged Mid-Set Finale were Subzeroark, Casparwu, and Prestivent. Setting up the end of the first half of TFT <\/em>Set Nine was the North American Shurima Cup featuring gameplay through Patch 13.15<\/a>. Days one and two followed the same schedule as the Freljord Cup did with 128 players competing and only 32 advancing to the second weekend, joining the top Ranked players from the Set Nine ladder snapshots and the top four from the Frelord Cup<\/a>. <\/p>
