Niantic added Pawmi to Pok\u00e9mon Go as part of the Adventures Abound season, alongside other Pok\u00e9mon from Scarlet and Violet, giving a massive surge to Pok\u00e9mon from the Paldea region. It is, however, the only Pok\u00e9mon from the first wave with unique requirements to fully evolve it. Before you can worry about trying to evolve Pawmi, it might help to make sure you have one that you want to keep on your team and regularly use. Here's what you need to evolve about evolving Pawmi into Pawmo and Pawmot in Pok\u00e9mon Go. Pawmi has a unique evolution method in Pok\u00e9mon Go, and it's similar to how you obtain Pawmot by walking in Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet. There's a good amount of walking involved, but that shouldn't be too difficult if you know where you want to go, and if you're actively participating in the weekly events. Even if you're not, so long as you have the Adventure Sync featured, where you connect Pok\u00e9mon Go to your smartphone's walking application, any steps you take while not actively playing the mobile game should count. Here's a step-by-step process for evolving Pawmi: First catch a Pawmi and evolve it into a Pawmo. You should be able to do this using 25 Pawmi Candy. You can get this candy by catching other Pawmi, using Rare Candy, or by making Pawmi your buddy and walking with it. Having Pawmi as your buddy might be a good idea, because you'll need to do that with Pawmo. Now to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot, you need two things: 100 Pawmi Candy Walk at least 25km with it as your buddy. Unfortunately, any time walking as a Pawmi won't count toward this total, unfortunately. You can complete these steps at anytime, so long as you do with the same Pawmo. When you reach the proper requirement, you can evolve it into Pawmot and then begin using it combat or other activities while playing Go. Adding a walking requirement is not unheard of in this mobile game, especially because Niantic wants to encourage all forms of physical activity for players. Best moveset for Pawmot in Pok\u00e9mon Go When you do get a Pawmot, making sure it's ready for battle is a good idea. It's not the strongest Pok\u00e9mon, so we don't recommend using it in the Great, Ultra, or Master League. But you might want to use it in one-star and three-star raids, or against Team Rocket Grunts. The best moveset you can teach Pawmot is the fast move Spark and the charged moves Close Combat and Wild Charge. These are not the strongest choices in the world, but it's still a solid moveset for an Electric and Fighting-type Pok\u00e9mon. Can Pawmot be Shiny? As it stands right now, there's no way to catch a Shiny Pawmi, or a Shiny form of its evolutions. This will likely be added in the future, and we can expect to see it alongside a distinct event featuring this Paldean Pok\u00e9mon. A Shiny version typically releases after the Pok\u00e9mon has been out for two or three years. We might expect to see this happen sometime in 2025 or 2026. Niantic added Pawmi to Pok\u00e9mon Go as part of the Adventures Abound season, alongside other Pok\u00e9mon from Scarlet and Violet, giving a massive surge to Pok\u00e9mon from the Paldea region. It is, however, the only Pok\u00e9mon from the first wave with unique requirements to fully evolve it. Before you can worry about trying to evolve Pawmi, it might help to make sure you have one that you want to keep on your team and regularly use. Here's what you need to evolve about evolving Pawmi into Pawmo and Pawmot in Pok\u00e9mon Go. How do I evolve Pawmi and Pawmo into Pawmot in Pok\u00e9mon Go? Pawmi has a unique evolution method in Pok\u00e9mon Go, and it's similar to how you obtain Pawmot by walking in Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet. There's a good amount of walking involved, but that shouldn't be too difficult if you know where you want to go, and if you're actively participating in the weekly events. Even if you're not, so long as you have the Adventure Sync featured, where you connect Pok\u00e9mon Go to your smartphone's walking application, any steps you take while not actively playing the mobile game should count. Here's a step-by-step process for evolving Pawmi: First catch a Pawmi and evolve it into a Pawmo. You should be able to do this using 25 Pawmi Candy. You can get this candy by catching other Pawmi, using Rare Candy, or by making Pawmi your buddy and walking with it. Having Pawmi as your buddy might be a good idea, because you'll need to do that with Pawmo. Now to evolve Pawmo into Pawmot, you need two things: 100 Pawmi Candy Walk at least 25km with it as your buddy. Unfortunately, any time walking as a Pawmi won't count toward this total, unfortunately. You can complete these steps at anytime, so long as you do with the same Pawmo. When you reach the proper requirement, you can evolve it into Pawmot and then begin using it combat or other activities while playing Go. Adding a walking requirement is not unheard of in this mobile game, especially because Niantic wants to encourage all forms of physical activity for players. Best moveset for Pawmot in Pok\u00e9mon Go When you do get a Pawmot, making sure it's ready for battle is a good idea. It's not the strongest Pok\u00e9mon, so we don't recommend using it in the Great, Ultra, or Master League. But you might want to use it in one-star and three-star raids, or against Team Rocket Grunts. The best moveset you can teach Pawmot is the fast move Spark and the charged moves Close Combat and Wild Charge. These are not the strongest choices in the world, but it's still a solid moveset for an Electric and Fighting-type Pok\u00e9mon. Can Pawmot be Shiny? As it stands right now, there's no way to catch a Shiny Pawmi, or a Shiny form of its evolutions. This will likely be added in the future, and we can expect to see it alongside a distinct event featuring this Paldean Pok\u00e9mon. A Shiny version typically releases after the Pok\u00e9mon has been out for two or three years. We might expect to see this happen sometime in 2025 or 2026.
