How to get a mythic Holiday Present in Fortnite Winterfest
Fortnite‘s Winterfest celebrations kicked off with a Mariah Carey mini-event in the snowy mountains near Crackshot’s Cabin. There, she exploded from the ice and sang her iconic festive song, All I Want For Christmas Is You, and then sent players flying into the air before disappearing. Now, Mariah is back as an NPC and is giving away free Holiday Presents.

Epic Games has packed this year’s Winterfest with 14 amazing free presents, including exclusive festive skins. You can open one present every day from now until Jan. 7, 2025, with an extra special gift only available after the Winterfest celebrations have concluded.

The fan-favorite Christmas song turned 30 years old this year, and Mariah is celebrating it by appearing in Fortnite. The singer’s classic holiday hit can be heard in battle royale by seeking her out on the map, where she’s waiting to perform the song and give you a special emote just for showing up and showing some love.
]]>Thousands of Fortnite players are currently using an exploit in the game to break Epic Games’ policy and get the XP-locked Renegade Raider skin within a few seconds.
The glitch allows players to quickly earn millions of XP and unlock the Renegade Raider and other rewards without spending any V-Bucks. Players have discovered a custom map that rewards them with tons of free XP. After spending a couple of seconds in this specific custom map, you can load out of it and repeat this process a few times and gain the 4 million XP required for the Aerial Assault One, Aerial Assault Trooper, Renegade Raider, and the Raider’s Revenge. Those aren’t just a few levels.
]]>Two of the rarest Skins in Fortnite are back and available to purchase from the item shop, but to maintain their exclusivity, there’s an extra catch to unlocking them. You need 1.5 million XP to even have a shot at acquiring the second one, the Renegade Raider.
Fortnite doesn’t tell you how many levels this much XP is and it’s also not easy to consistently watch your total XP, so it can be tough to track your progress. It’s a lot easier to know how much you have left to get when you’re focused on the level you need to reach instead, so here’s how many levels 1.5 million XP is in Fortnite.
]]>Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper have returned to the Fortnite Item Shop to continue the Fortnite OG celebrations. While many in the community look forward to unlocking and purchasing the OG outfits, some players are unhappy that their once-rare skin is no longer exclusive. But were they ever really exclusive in the first place?
With Fortnite OG making its official comeback, the possibility of some ultra-rare OG skins soon became a reality, and this has caused some upset in the community. Most of the discussion surrounds Renegade Raider, despite Aerial Assault Trooper coming along for the ride. While this is probably down to the general preference for female skins, spare a thought for the often-ignored male counterpart.
]]>There have been a lot of changes to how players can gain XP in Fortnite Chapter Six, season one, and not everyone is happy about it. Not only that, but players have noticed that it will be virtually impossible for casual players to unlock everything in the Bonus Rewards section of the Fortnite Battle Pass.
The regular Battle Pass has 100 rewards to claim, unlocking each reward as you level up. Getting to level 100 isn’t too difficult, usually, but with the recent XP changes and level cap, some players have been finding it more difficult than others. The Bonus Rewards page is even harder to complete as each reward requires players to level up twice to claim it. With 50 rewards on the Bonus Rewards page, it looks like this is going to be a huge grind for casual players. As one Reddit user pointed out, there is a 153-level gap between the Jade skin and her completed style in the Bonus Rewards. This isn’t even counting her super style, which would require an additional 42 levels.
