How to complete the Crucible quest in Fallout 4 Investigate Saugus Ironworks This\u00a0Fallout 4\u00a0quest begins at\u00a0Saugus Ironworks east of the Med-Tek Research facility. The place is home to the Forged, who love fire and using Flamers.\u00a0Make sure to\u00a0keep your distance when fighting them if you don't want to end up fried. Inside the building, use the stairs to go up and cross to the other section of the building. You must\u00a0find the Forged Keeper and kill her.\u00a0Collect the Forged Keeper's Note\u00a0from her body and\u00a0read it\u00a0from the inventory. Search the Keeper's toolbox Next, search the Keeper's toolbox located\u00a0above, in one of the overseeing rooms. It's a traditional\u00a0red toolbox with an Expert lock, so make sure you have the\u00a0Locksmith Perk leveled\u00a0before attempting to crack it. Now, back down again to where the control button was, and\u00a0in the dirt, there are flame-resistant leg mods and Raider Power Armor legs. Craft the mods and retrieve the Heavy Incinerator To craft the flame resistance mods,\u00a0use the Power Armor Station with the Raider Power Armor\u00a0to the right\u00a0of\u00a0where you looted the items. You can only apply these mods to the Raider Power Armor and not your own. Interact with the Power Armor Station,\u00a0install the missing legs you just found, and apply the Flame Resistance mod to them.\u00a0You don't need to spend any resources, like Adhesive or Rubber,\u00a0because you already have the mods. Here's how to complete the Crucible quest in\u00a0Fallout 4\u00a0to get the new Heavy Incinerator weapon. How to complete the Crucible quest in Fallout 4 Investigate Saugus Ironworks This\u00a0Fallout 4\u00a0quest begins at\u00a0Saugus Ironworks east of the Med-Tek Research facility. The place is home to the Forged, who love fire and using Flamers.\u00a0Make sure to\u00a0keep your distance when fighting them if you don't want to end up fried. Inside the building, use the stairs to go up and cross to the other section of the building. You must\u00a0find the Forged Keeper and kill her.\u00a0Collect the Forged Keeper's Note\u00a0from her body and\u00a0read it\u00a0from the inventory. Search the Keeper's toolbox Next, search the Keeper's toolbox located\u00a0above, in one of the overseeing rooms. It's a traditional\u00a0red toolbox with an Expert lock, so make sure you have the\u00a0Locksmith Perk leveled\u00a0before attempting to crack it. The toolbox contains the\u00a0Forged Recruit's Note\u00a0and the\u00a0Smelter Console Password,\u00a0both of\u00a0which you need for the quest.\u00a0Read the Recruit's Note\u00a0in\u00a0the inventory to move to the next step. Move the crucible and collect items Further down the hallway, there's the\u00a0Smelter Terminal\u00a0you\u00a0have to activate using the password from the toolbox. The terminal\u00a0controls\u00a0are locked\u00a0because of the flow of molten metal. To turn it off,\u00a0head below the terminal and use the Molten Metal Flow Control button.\u00a0 Head back up to the terminal and\u00a0select Move the Crucible\u00a0option. Now, back down again to where the control button was, and\u00a0in the dirt, there are flame-resistant leg mods and Raider Power Armor legs. Craft the mods and retrieve the Heavy Incinerator To craft the flame resistance mods,\u00a0use the Power Armor Station with the Raider Power Armor\u00a0to the right\u00a0of\u00a0where you looted the items. You can only apply these mods to the Raider Power Armor and not your own. Interact with the Power Armor Station,\u00a0install the missing legs you just found, and apply the Flame Resistance mod to them.\u00a0You don't need to spend any resources, like Adhesive or Rubber,\u00a0because you already have the mods. Enter the upgraded Power Armor and\u00a0head to one of the nearest molten metal reservoirs.
