Both games are in development from Boss Team Games, known for developing the asymmetrical multiplayer game Evil Dead: The Game<\/em>, which let gamers play as either Ash Williams and his allies or as a Kandarian Demon, battling it out against each other in locations based on the movies. One of those games will be developed with Unreal Engine 5, but it’s unclear which engine the other game will use. But what makes the prospect of these two Halloween<\/em> games interesting is that John Carpenter, the director of the original 1978 classic, will be involved in production.<\/p>
In the report, Carpenter said that he was excited to join the project since he is a “huge gamer,” and that he hopes to “scare you silly” with these new games. <\/p>
While Carpenter hasn’t been in the director’s chair for quite some time, he is still involved with the Halloween<\/em> franchise, serving as executive producer for the most recent film trilogy. This is also not Carpenter’s first foray into video games, as he is also the creator of the upcoming zombie shooter Toxic Commando<\/em>.
