It's based on the Safari Ball used in the main series of games usually found in Safari Zones or Game areas. While the GO Safari Ball is a great new addition, trainers are curious about what it does and how to get it, with information being scarce outside of those who attend the events. With that in mind, here is everything you need to know about the GO Safari Ball, including where to find one for yourself. What does the GO Safari Ball do in Pok\u00e9mon Go? The GO Safari Ball is a special event-exclusive Pok\u00e9 Ball in Pok\u00e9mon Go with a higher catch rate than any other Pok\u00e9 Ball outside of the Master Ball, a guaranteed capture. Think of the GO Safari Ball as a better Ultra Ball. This makes the Pok\u00e9 Ball ideal for capturing new Mighty Pok\u00e9mon or even using them against the Glarian Birds when using your Daily Incense if you are lucky enough to find one. What is frustrating, though, is any Pok\u00e9mon caught using a GO Safari Ball is stuck in Pok\u00e9mon Go for all eternity, as you cannot transfer any Pok\u00e9mon caught in a GO Safari Ball to Pok\u00e9mon Home to use in other games. How to get GO Safari Ball in Pok\u00e9mon Go There are two ways to obtain more Safari Balls during the Wild Area event in Pok\u00e9mon Go. The first way is available to all players: spinning Pok\u00e9 Stops and Gym Dials during the event. You'll want to explore your local area to find new ones to spin, increasing your chances of getting them. These rewards are not guaranteed, though. If you purchase the Wild Area Safari Ball Extra Access from the website every hour from 10am to 6:15pm in your local area, you'll receive a Timed Research with quick tasks that reward Safari Balls. All players can earn more Safari Balls during the event, but it comes down to exploring, spinning Pok\u00e9 Stops or Gyms, and walking around. The Extra Access Safari Ball ticket is your best bet if you use it to catch more Mighty Pok\u00e9mon. However, the downside to purchasing this ticket is that it is separate from the standard Wild Area event ticket, and the hourly Timed Research tasks expire at the end of the hour. You don't receive anything if you miss redeeming these tasks. It can be easy to miss these rewards if you're not quick. You'll want to remain available and focused on Pok\u00e9mon Go's Wild Area event from 10am to 6:15pm in your local area from Nov. 23 to 24. After the event concludes, you can pour through the many Pok\u00e9mon you caught throughout the event and take a rest. You also want to use every Safari Ball you get throughout the event. These items expire from your inventory when the event is over, and you can't use them at a later point. If you do not plan to focus on catching Mighty Pok\u00e9mon, or they are not a huge priority, earning more Safari Balls and buying them should not be a priority. Think of the GO Safari Ball as a better Ultra Ball. This makes the Pok\u00e9 Ball ideal for capturing new Mighty Pok\u00e9mon or even using them against the Glarian Birds when using your Daily Incense if you are lucky enough to find one. What is frustrating, though, is any Pok\u00e9mon caught using a GO Safari Ball is stuck in Pok\u00e9mon Go for all eternity, as you cannot transfer any Pok\u00e9mon caught in a GO Safari Ball to Pok\u00e9mon Home to use in other games. How to get GO Safari Ball in Pok\u00e9mon Go There are two ways to obtain more Safari Balls during the Wild Area event in Pok\u00e9mon Go. The first way is available to all players: spinning Pok\u00e9 Stops and Gym Dials during the event. You'll want to explore your local area to find new ones to spin, increasing your chances of getting them. These rewards are not guaranteed, though. If you purchase the Wild Area Safari Ball Extra Access from the website every hour from 10am to 6:15pm in your local area, you'll receive a Timed Research with quick tasks that reward Safari Balls. All players can earn more Safari Balls during the event, but it comes down to exploring, spinning Pok\u00e9 Stops or Gyms, and walking around. The Extra Access Safari Ball ticket is your best bet if you use it to catch more Mighty Pok\u00e9mon. However, the downside to purchasing this ticket is that it is separate from the standard Wild Area event ticket, and the hourly Timed Research tasks expire at the end of the hour. You don't receive anything if you miss redeeming these tasks. It can be easy to miss these rewards if you're not quick. You'll want to remain available and focused on Pok\u00e9mon Go's Wild Area event from 10am to 6:15pm in your local area from Nov. 23 to 24.
