When the ghost has freezing temps as one of its evidence types, you may see the reading on the Thermometer drop all the way down to -10\u00b0C or 14\u00b0F. But the ghost also might only drop it every so slightly below the threshold, so vigilance is key for catching this evidence type. There have been times when the lowest reading I could get was around -0.5\u00b0C, but even this slight dip still counts as freezing temps as long as it's below negative.
